WinRAR is an excellent program that allows us to compress files which can comparative easily through internet, but sometimes we want to protect, for it would have to create a password and thus keep our files safe.
1. Make a new RAR file, and drag the files you want in it, like you always do. Alternatively, you can right click on the file/folder and click on "Add to archive"
2. The following menu click the "Advanced" tab and then click on "Set Password"
3. Can now set a password and check the "Encrypt File Names box" or chose as per your need.
4. Click "OK" Now the file is password protected. Enjoy.
Tip: When you will open the RAR/ZIP file, it'll shows a dialog box with password prompt.
