those who thought that the arrival of the iPhone heralded the end of physical keypads, have been proved wrong. Although mosecell phone manufactures are investing heavily in touchscreen devices, most users seem to prefer a blend of the touchscreen and the physical keypad, allowing them the best of both worlds. However, the days of the conventional alphanumeric keypad might be drawing to close.

if Google's G1,Sony Ericsson's Xperia and Nokia's 97,Lumia are any
indication, users will have the option of using on-screen keypads to dial numbers, while enjoying the convenience of full-fledged QWERTY keypads(so far mainly the preserver of enterprise devices) to enter text. Of course this is just another step forward the mobile coming closer to computer.

While we don't see the alphanumeric keypad dying yet. it will surely be on back foot for most of 2012.
Now days popular OS Android  uses touchscreen mobile to give a better compatibility with the user such company like Samsung,LG,Nokia . so choice is yours it may be touch or touch and type enjoy.
